Thank you to Russ and his team for arranging such an amazing walking tour. Russ personally picked us up in Penzance to take us to the start of our tour in St. Ives! We are a couple in our 60’s and this was our first walking tour. The walks were beautiful & yet still challenging in some areas. We met some wonderful people along the way & took in some incredible sights! We found all the B&B’s & hotels booked for us were absolutely wonderful - with amazing hosts & breakfasts! We had such a lovely time on our walk! Everything went smoothly and we were wowed by how beautiful the walk was. We hit Sennen Cove on a bright, sunny afternoon which was perfect for walking along the beach barefoot. We saw a grey seal on our first day and choughs galore for the first few days. The places we stayed were fantastic, especially the Tinner's Arms. We just loved how cozy it was, how friendly everyone was and hanging out in the pub with other walkers and locals was a great way to end the day. We loved Mousehole and we had a great room there at the very top of the building. Thank you for such a great holiday. Having seen only a tiny portion of Cornwall, I want to return to explore more!

I just wanted to say that I had a fantastic week in Cornwall, from oktober 1-8. The walk on the swcp was great, and your information, the luggage service and b&b's/hotels were very well organized. Thanks for making this possible, and proving to be a reliable and involved party. Thanks a lot! If I hear another dutch (wo)man talk about hiking I will surely recommend Western Discoveries. We so enjoyed walking from St. Ives to Mousehole and Western Discoveries was a big part in making the journey work out so well. The beauty of that area is stunning and culturally rich. The first day was challenging as we are elderly ladies, so when it was raining the next morning, we were so thankful to be able to ride with Russ and our luggage to the next B&B. Russ encouraged us to visit the Geevor mine which we found very interesting. The following day we saw many mine ruins and had good weather. On other days we sometimes took the bus. We loved the B&Bs and everyone we encountered along the way treated us with much kindness. The weather was variable, but this too enriched the journey. We highly recommend Western discoveries as Russ was of great help in everyway.

Great service from Russ & Matt. We did a six day trip from St Ives to Mousehole in early October. Everything worked perfectly. Good information in advance of the trip. Good choice of B&B. Highly recommended and a terrific walk.
